EMMA ST. LAWRENCE completed her bachelor’s degree in English literature and film studies at King’s College London. While there, she developed ongoing interests in interactive spectatorship, narratology, fan cultures, and sports films, and completed an undergraduate dissertation on interactive proto-narratives in early cinema. Before joining the CAMS department, Emma worked as an arts & culture journalist for counterculture magazine Wildabout, and on the digital media team at the Victoria and Albert Museum. Most recently, she completed a research fellowship conducting quantitative and qualitative research on live cinema in the United Kingdom for Dr. Sarah Atkinson’s upcoming anthology, Live Cinema: Cultures, Economies, Aesthetics.
